Developing Leadership Skills Within the IMMOWA Community

She never thought of herself as a leader.

She was just a woman showing up. For her family. For her chapter. For her sisters.

But somewhere along the way… people started following.

They came to her when they needed advice. They called her when things got hard. They looked to her when the room needed direction.

And one day, someone looked at her and said… “You know you are a leader, right?”

She had no idea.

Leadership is not always loud. It is not always a title or a podium.

Sometimes leadership is the woman who organises the support group meeting. The one who checks in on the new member. The one who stays after the event to make sure everyone got home safely.

IMMOWA is full of leaders like that.

And our community is intentional about developing them.

Through mentorship programs, community initiatives, and leadership conversations woven into everything we do… IMMOWA creates an environment where every member can discover and grow her leadership capacity.

Because the immigration officers’ wives community needs strong, equipped, visionary women at every level.

In the home. In the chapter. In the nation.

Your voice matters here. Your gifts are needed here. Your leadership has a home here.
