ENUGU STATE NIS COMPTROLLER EMPOWERS IMMOWA
COMPTROLLER OF IMMIGRATION SERVICE, ENUGU STATE COMMAND, JOACHIM OLUMBA, TODAY PRESENTED SOME EMPOWERMENT ITEMS TO THREE LUCKY MEMBERS OF THE ENUGU STATE CHAPTER OF THE IMMIGRATION OFFICERS WIVES ASSOCIATION (IMMOWA).
Making the presentation in his office today at a brief but memorable and historic event, the Enugu State Immigration boss praised the leadership and entire members of IMMOWA in the State for their dedication and commitment to the ideals of the body. He encouraged them to remain steadfast as they stand to gain immense benefits from the association while pledging his continued support to the body.
Comptroller Olumba expressed optimism that the three beneficiaries, namely, Mrs. Edna Ochi, Mrs. Blessing Umeh, and Mrs. Rosemary Agbo, would utilise the empowerment tools to enhance their disposable income and add value to their respective families. He commended the Enugu State Government for their support in making the event possible, as well as the National President of IMMOWA, Hajiya Maryam Isah Jere, for her encouragement to the State Chapter.
Items given out during the occasion include a grinding machine, a sewing machine, and a hairdressing machine. The historic occasion was attended by the Deputy Comptroller of Immigration in charge of HRM, Mrs. C. Emelumadu, the State IMMOWA Chairperson, Mrs. Bibian Chika Olumba, the Vice Chairperson, ASI Chiebonam Hope-Maduka, and other executive members of the association in the state.
